What a Week!

Ben loved doing this puzzle over and over with Grandma.Named after our ancestors.
Some of those cute Gardner kids.
Where Grandma and Grandpa lived after first married. (on Gardner Ln.)

From Brookly's Baptism on Sat. May 24th we quickly cleaned and packed and got up early for church Sun. and then whirlwinded to Pinetop and got there Sun. evening. We needed to go then because I had to be in Shumway early Monday (Memorial Day) for the cleaning of Kim's attic and all of Grammy's stuff. This was so hard to throw away years of memories and decorations that we helped to put up and down month after month every year. She was the master decorator and it was so fun! As my living room still attests, I couldn't bear to throw away many things and am still sorting through what we did bring home. Luckily, we saved much history, music, pictures and some decorations. After an entire grueling day in the dusty attic with mouse poop and dead birds I decided to run back up to Pinetop and let Julie take the flowers I bought for Grammy and Grampy's grave. It turned out beautiful and I'm so grateful that she had pictures taken.

I returned and in Pinetop we had Home Evening and then attemped to get the kids in bed.

Tuesday we relaxed as the pictures in Pinetop show. We also went to Norman's grave. We toured Gardner lane. Ben did puzzles with Grandma. Boys chopped wood and planted trees.

Wednesday we went to Billy Creek with Grandpa- more pictures to come. More chainsaw and wood.

Thursday we went to the park.

Friday I copied some history from our Mayflower ancestors.

Sat. we packed and waited for Wes and Dallin from Scout Camp to come meet us to drive home. We got home at 9:30pm and had Scout Camp, Vacation and Grammy's attic to unload. It was a long night!
