Yes, that's right! After years of not being able to remember if Josh had a party and he says he didn't, this year was the big year! He invited a few friends from school and Grammy and Grampy even flew in just in time.

Josh had a special birthday in that it coincided with Julie's wedding weekend. He had lots of family there on Sunday at church, when he was ordained a Deacon. 12 is such a special year! I can't believe he's that old. Josh is an incredible boy! He has a wonderful trait in being very kind to those younger or in need. He is sensitive to others feelings. He has a funny sense of humor and all his teachers rave about him. He is definitely more quiet and reserved at school than he is at home. So many kids consider him their friend. He is truly a friend to all. Josh loves to collect things as his room can attest. He loves Legos and is very creative with his ideas. He is an excellent writer and has a vast imagination. He learns quickly and excels in school. He does great at every subject. Josh loves to be outside! It is torture for him to have to work or be inside very long. He even recently paid his siblings to clean his room so he could go outside and play! He loves riding and going to the ditch by our house. He loves having alone time and doesn't like his younger siblings in his room or in his stuff without his permission. He is an avid reader! I hope my kids all get this from me! He loves Running Club and is quite a fast runner. He loves Science Club and growing things in his garden there. He has a keen mind and sharp wit. Listen close or you'll miss some very funny remarks! He is learning to listen to the Spirit and growing spiritually. I am so proud of my sweet Josh!
