EFY Week June 15-20

Dallin's Team

Oh what fun travelling with our children is! Wes was in CA again for work so we made the trip to take Dallin to Flagstaff for EFY without him. Our dear friends Crystal and Trevor Smithson let us stay at their house and the kids had a blast riding in the wagon of the lawnmower. Josh even got to drive! What a great week for Dallin and his stories and spiritual growth were well worth the money and trip! He is an amazing young man! What a great example for his younger siblings!

Our Weekend Getaway

We were so blessed that Joni was able to keep our munchkins so that we were able to take some time away. It was much needed and very appreciated. Our hotel was beautiful and we had a wonderful time at the temple!

Our Anniversary Tree

For our Anniversary the Pena's surprised us and only told the boys that they were giving us a tree. This is a special tree because it grows grapefruit, lemons and oranges. Awesome! It will be so fun to watch this grow just as our love does each day! Wes dug quite a big hole to make sure it is rooted deep.

June 11th - Our 17th Anniversary

Wow, what can I say? 17 years have been such a blessing of growth and love! I truly have the most amazing man as my husband! He inspires me to be better and loves me when I'm not. I feel so blessed that he is mine forever! On our actual day of Anniversary we went to Serrano's for dinner and the next weekend we were able to go to a nice resort in Scottsdale.

My friend, Wendy Pitney had us over for a afternoon water playdate and we had a blast! From the awesome squirt guns to the paint plastic slip and slide the kids were exhausted when they got home! Perfect afternoon! So much fun!

Summer Library Programs

June 2009

Our kids always do the summer reading programs at the AJ Public Library and they each earn Diamondback's Baseball tickets. This year we went to hear the Diamondback's organist, Bobby Freeman, and Brennen, Jarom and Brookly were all chosen for the game with the mascot and Brookly won! She won a Brandon Webb bobblehead. So fun!

I decided to make our Summer officially begin by moving bedrooms and thus having to completely clean out closets! Josh had wanted to move for a while and Brennen was thrilled to get his own room. Poor Dallin:)

Summer's Flying By!

OK, I'm so far behind I don't know where to start so I'll just go to my pictures and add a few and go from there:)
End of May, 2009
Brookly and I attended the play "The Emporer's New Clothes" at Broadway Palm Dinner Theater for our last hurrah with the Brownie troop she's been in for 3 years! What a great building experience this has been for her. She has Achievement Days and would like to take singing lessons now so something has to go.
